Gayle asked: I’ve seen on t.v. how credit card debt councilors work with banks when people owe a lot of money on their credit cards. They say they can not only reduce the amount owed but also get your monthly payments down to where they are manageable. How do they do this, are there any consequences such as a reduction of credit score, and is it effective (do they really do this or is it a scam)? Also, how much do they charge? Thanks.

sam_24 asked: The U.S. government is in debt over $65 trillion dollars! I don’t feel like the people in DC really care as much about it as they should; they feel okay about leaving it to the next generation. If the government could get out of debt think of how much extra money they would have for other things such as education, health care, any many other things that would benefit the people. It may be a pain to get out of debt right now but the sooner we can get out of debt the more money we’ll have in the future.

chris7833 asked: Some people say that it is always a good investment. I think it depends on a person’s debt versus potential for making the money back. Any thoughts or personal experiences?
